Season's greetings from the Museum of Art! We hope you will visit this month, as we open two new exhibitions in the downstairs galleries: In Light of Rome: Early Photography in the Capital of the Art World, 1842–1871 (opens December 8) and Turn of Phrase: Language and Translation in Global Contemporary Art (opens December 15). Both exhibitions are accompanied by new catalogues. Also, please join us on December 15 when George Lopez, Bowdoin’s Beckwith Artist-in-Residence, performs two piano concerts at the Museum. As you make plans over this holiday season, please note that the Museum will close on December 24 and won’t reopen until January 10. Many thanks for all your support over the past year.

See you at the Museum!
