“At the red house, we like to do every season BIG! And if you know me, then you know I am not kidding when I said I LOVE Fall. So much so that I decided to bring a Pumpkin Patch to YOU every weekend this October! Get your flannels ready because I am bringing you some serious Fall vibes, including:

Pick your own pumpkin – yes, this is Harvard Square’s (and maybe even Cambridge’s?) first and only pumpkin patch.

Beer, Wine & Apple Cider – it wouldn’t be a pumpkin patch without festive booze, right?" said Molly Lindberg, owner of the red house.

"Pretzels, stoopwaffles, chowder & other favs – I will personally be serving up my favorite Fall time dessert, stroopwafels. Never had one? Think warm, melted, salted caramel cookies, served by yours truly.”

The 5-week, 10-class Introduction to Ballet courses are designed for beginners with little to no experience, students with some experience who are not yet ready to take open classes, or dancers returning to the art form after a few years away, ages 18 and up. Pre-registration and full enrollment is required.

The courses give students an overview of the art form and cover all the fundamental elements that comprise the movement vocabulary of classical ballet and how these basics can be best applied by the individual student. Students progressively learn how these elements are used to build steps, phrases and eventually longer choreographed sequences (combinations) that are the basis of the dances of traditional theatrical presentations.

Class size is limited.

"The Bee Feed will be hibernating until Spring. Every few days, I still see bees visiting. I'd like to thank J.P. Licks and Starbucks for coffee grounds, Russell House Tavern for water can storage, Jerry Ruso for water access; and the HSBA for its support, signage, and care.
Thank you." - Kevin Tyler

Hong Kong Restaurant began with a single dining room on the first floor of its Massachusetts Avenue location back in 1954. Major changes began in 1970, transforming it into the three floors that it occupies today, although then with an expanded dining room on the first floor, a second dining room on the second floor and a banquet room on the third floor. Over the years, the second floor became a lounge, and a dance floor was added to the third floor.

Hong Kong Restaurant is a full-service establishment with a full dining room on the first floor, a lounge on the second floor and a dance floor on the third floor.
