Sphera PendantDesign by Massimo Tonetto

Tonetto_virata-1 image

Shortly after graduating in architecture in Venice, Massimo Tonetto began his career as a designer. From 1998 to 2002 he collaborated with the styling department of leading companies in the lighting industry, designing his first successful collections. In 2002 he opened WORKS STUDIO, and began to work as an independent interior designer. In 2006 he created ITAMA, a collection of inventive lighting fixtures strongly characterized by essential, elegant lines. In 2009 he began cooperating with Melissa Lunardi, creating various customized lighting designs. In 2013 Melissa Lunardi and Massimo Tonetto set up the Venice M lighting design firm with the purpose of creating special customized lighting and design projects throughout the world.

Bell-shaped and vaguely inspired by nature, Sphera proposes a grooved surface that is highlighted by multiple reflections of light. The collection is composed of wall and hanging versions. Coming in three different sizes, Sphera is a fascinating lighting fixture that adapts to any type of interior either installed alone or group compositions.
