Bringing Safety Certifications to You

Christy Uden, CAE, IOM

In today’s fast-paced world, efficiency is as important as ever. With that in mind, we are dedicated to

simplifying your organization’s process to train and certify your employees.

BCSP is currently piloting on-site exam delivery and in-person examCORE training options with plans to launch both soon. These developments will help you create safer workplaces and invest in your employees by expanding their knowledge and enhancing their professional growth.

The new offerings will allow for expert-led exam prep and/or proctored group examinations, all at the convenience of your location. In-person examCORE training for the STS and STSC will launch first, with the CHST, ASP, and CSP to follow.

Stay posted for more information about this exciting new pathway for exam preparation and on-site exam delivery, and check out what else is new at BCSP in this edition of the Partners eNewsletter.

BCSP Endorsing Organizations

BCSP's endorsing organizations help ensure that the governance of BCSP includes broad representation from across the safety profession by recommending Board members. These organizations do not provide funding or support to BCSP or its operations. They do provide their members with a variety of services important to safety professionals.

Presentations on safety certification can be done for recertification credit! BCSP has many resources available for certificants to use during presentations, including pre-made PowerPoints, banner displays, literature about achieving certification, and videos.

These resources can be found on our Presentations and Outreach webpage.

Banner displays are a great way to promote BCSP credentials and earn recertification credit. A display is available to any certificant for use at chapter meetings, regional or local conferences, etc. BCSP ships to and from any U.S. venue and provides literature at no cost.

If you would like to borrow a display, fill out a Display and Literature Request Form.

Expansion of BCSP's Certification Sponsorship Program to All Credentials

Since 1999, BCSP has offered a Certification Sponsorship Program for the Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) and the Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) certifications.

We are happy to announce the program is now available for all 10 BCSP credentials. If your organization is interested in fostering a safety culture easily managed through BCSP credentials, please visit our Workplace Safety and Certification webpage for more information.

The program's Group Management platform provides an organization with the ability to sponsor members’ credentials, allowing Group Account Managers (GAMs) to monitor sponsored individuals so that applications, examinations, renewals, and other activities related to attaining and maintaining BCSP credentials can be completed with a few simple actions.

The Certification Sponsorship Program is our recognition of those organizations that sponsor their members' BCSP credentials. It is our way of commending your commitment to ensuring a safer workforce, with different levels being reached based on the number of sponsored members each organization has in the program.
