Key HR Dates for the New Employee Space Transition
As we prepare for our transition to the new Employee Space in early 2022, we will be keeping you updated on important updates and operational impacts as we move into the Phase 1 transition to the new Employee Space, which is replacing Infor/GHR. In order to ensure accurate data for go live, we are implementing cutoff dates for Human Resources and Payroll procedures. We anticipate standard operations to resume in early 2022, and appreciate your patience and understanding as we take these important steps for the organization. 
 
Dec. 10 is the last day for managers to take any action in Infor. The table below outlines key HR transactions to be aware of.

  • Last day to request new position number or position number updatefor a current employee or old position number you want to post (i.e. FTE, job title, job code, etc.).

  • Last day to Create a Job Requisition where you plan to hire and fill prior to Dec. 17.

  • Last day to Move Candidates to Qualify in Infor, if you need them to start working on Jan. 3.
  • Last day to make changes to personal informationin Infor.
Friday, Dec. 17
  • Last day you will have access to view your employees and candidates in Infor.
  • Last day to apply for open positions in Infor - postings will be available again on Jan. 3 in the new system
We know that high-quality staffing is a priority across our organization, now more than ever during a time with significant vacancies across the district. These cutover dates are important to ensure the utmost accuracy with this transition, and we are committed to ensuring recruiting efforts to staff our district do not stop. Please note that this transition is intentionally timed over the winter break, when most employees will be off. If you have concerns about what this transition will mean for your hiring process, please reach out to your HR partner.

When you return from break, you’ll experience recruitment improvements in the new Employee Space, including:

  • Increased accessibility that works on mobile devices and with many different browsers.

  • Faster candidate screening. You will see qualified candidates within minutes of them applying. Applicants for school-based positions will no longer have to be moved through a pool and will apply directly to your jobs.

  • Simplified job requisitions for managers and improved job posting languagethat will attract the right candidates for your openings.
