DoD Guidance re: Vaccination Status
On 18 October 2021, the Department of Defense issued updated Force Health Protection Guidance with regards to COVID-19 vaccination requirements for DoD civilian employees, contractor personnel and official visitors.

Guidance is continually changing however, as of today, crews handling military HHG are exempt from the federal contractor vaccine mandate.

Vaccination and physical access requirements do not apply to the following groups:

  • Delivery personnel/taxi services
  • HHG transportation personnel
  • Personnel accessing DoD buildings (residential housing)
  • Personnel accessing DoD facilities for a public benefit
