Thanks to some very caring, generous donors, The St. Crispin's Waterfronts are better equipped for summer staff and campers!

We are very grateful to all who gave donations to upgrade both waterfront areas including

  • Shades/Shelters to protect the lifejackets and also provide a shade for campers and leaders.
  • Additional lifejackets
  • Lifeguard chairs and a floating dock for the blob and iceberg.
  • Umbrellas to provide some shade for the lifeguards.

The Upper Waterfront (Upper Danielson Lake) consists of a U-shaped dock enclosing a swimming area. There are two inflatable "toys", a blob which is a "jump and send" activity and the iceberg, which is a "climb and slide" toy, which happens to be about 25' tall! All the activities at the Upper Waterfront are supervised by camp counselors and certified lifeguards.

Note the "new for this year" lifejacket storage and shady space!

Also new for this summer is a floating dock for lifeguards to better observe and respond to the inflatables. Both lifeguard chairs have umbrellas that will help immensely on the long, hot afternoons!

The Lower Waterfront (Lower Danielson Lake) provides boating activities Kayaks, canoes and paddle boards.

The lower lake is very serene. It is a perfect place to spend some time paddling and enjoying time with friends!

THANK YOU to all the staff, family and friends who helped set up the waterfront this past Saturday!!! Your help was invaluable to get it ready for Summer Camp! And you also made it really, really fun!

Thomas Wind, Maintenance Manager and Migel Vasqez, Maintenance Assistant provided great leadership!

Friends and Family, Brandon, Caden, Maddison, Tug, Emily and Sidney (top picture) pitched in and made it happen! Special thanks to Carmichael and Liz for their help and for bringing the troops!

Also helping were St. Crispin's staff, Kenneth Ross, Heidi Little, Marie Harjo and Nina Harjo.

St. Crispin's Summer Staff veterans, Tyler Gosdin and Abby Ervin were a big help. Thank You!

Summer Camp Cabins "Repurposed" and back in action!

We are thrilled that one of the summer camp cabins will be used as the craft cabin for summer camps! After some cleaning and a touch of paint by the '23 Summer Staff, the cabin will be ready to host summer campers and provide a great space for their craft projects!

We are currently using 2 cabins and the duplex for Conference Center staff. There is one more cabin with plumbing that with some work, could serve as an additional staff cabin. There's been discussion and interest in renovating these cabins to provide quality on-site housing for staff. Email Alton Belew to join the discussion.
