Flowers at St. Francis
The lovely flowers are arranged and delivered each week by Cutsforths in Canby. We are grateful for these beautiful symbols of our joy and frailty at our altar during most of the church year (we don’t have flowers during Advent, Lent, or Holy Week). After the 10:30 am service each Sunday, we share the flowers with folks celebrating birthdays or other special events, visitors, and our Misa congregation.
The cost of the flowers for the parish most Sundays is $95.
Please consider celebrating or honoring special people or events in your family by signing up and contributing for flowers on Sundays of your choice during this season of Pentecost, July-November. There will be a sign-up poster and envelopes for instructions and donations beginning August 1. Look on our communications desk and bulletin board! If you have questions or concerns, contact Jane Domagalski or Terri Hoffmann.
Please also consider using Cutsforths for your other flower needs!

An Episcopal Cursillo weekend for all adults will be held Thursday evening, September 9 - Sunday afternoon, September 12, 2021 at the Oregon Christian Convention Center in Turner (just outside Salem). Cursillo is ministry of the Episcopal Church, designed to give participants a lived experience of the love of God and the love of the Christian community. Many report that Cursillo wonderfully deepens their faith, empowers their ministry to others, and continues to nourish their spiritual lives. There is no charge to attend, and we will help you find someone to step you through the process. Simply email oregoncursillo@gmail.com or call Kevin Mallon at 503-863-1973. Those interested in sponsoring someone to attend can find information at www.oregon-cursillo.org. To maximize the safety of all, participants will be expected to have been fully immunized against COVID.

Please Save your Discarded Warm Adult Clothing!
Anticipating the winter months, St Timothy’s would love to have a supply of warm winter clothes for adult men and women. We are hoping that you will set aside, until the end of August, any suitable clothing that you would like to donate, when we will be collecting garments at the church. (More on this later). If you don’t have clothes to donate, consider buying a pack of underwear. No socks, please, a sock company has donated 2,000 pairs to St Timothy’s! In addition, they would also like towels for the showers.
