"We invite everyone to share communion around God's altar. We strive to be a welcoming and relevant Christian community doing what matters through prayer, worship, teaching, outreach, fellowship, and service.
We will demonstrate the real life application of scripture, tradition, and reason by providing a safe place to respond to each other's needs, hurts, joys, and interests."

Resurrection Campaign to Relieve Medical Debt in North Georgia
|
|
The mission of Resurrection's Compassion Ministry is to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves by embodying Christ’s love through deeds of compassion within our parish, our broader community, and the world. In the spirit of love, Resurrection is partnering with RIP Medical Debt to relieve the burden of medical debt for individuals in the North Georgia area who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Earn less than 2x the federal poverty level (varies by family size).
- Debts are 5 percent or more of annual income.
- Facing insolvency — debts are greater than assets.
Medical debt is the #1 cause of consumer bankruptcy in the United States. Resurrection Episcopal Church in Sautee has launched a campaign to forgive the medical debt of qualified folks in the rural North Georgia. This is a modern-day story of manna from heaven or loaves and fishes. Every dollar contributed forgives $100 of medical debt. That means $100 can forgive $10,000, and $1000 multiplies to $100,000.
Resurrection’s Vestry set a goal of raising $10,000 by All Saints Sunday November 7th. If we reach our goal, the Vestry has also pledged to match $10,000 from Resurrection’s Shepherd’s Fund established by Michael Randall. That means that together we have the potential to forgive $2 million dollars in Northeast Georgia medical debt. Once the debt is forgiven, the recipients are notified on Resurrection letterhead that their debt is cancelled, and then it is removed from their credit ratings, instantly improving their credit score.
Join our exciting campaign by clicking the link above or by going to www.resurrectionsautee.com, so we can proclaim release to families who are oppressed by medical debt they can’t pay. It is pure gift – pure grace.
