In our parish, we pray for Wayne, Heather & Erwin AND all who have COVID-19, caregivers, and those facing unemployment. We pray for the well-being of those impacted by flood or fire.

We are posting a brief day by day meditation from Forward Movement. It's a great way to start your morning! Just click on the website above.
Sunday October 3, 2021 is a special day for our furry, feathered, and scaly friends! Please SAVE THE DATE. Prepare to share your pet for zoom time and observance that recalls the Blessed Saint and remember the animals. Last year, this was so much fun; and while we may be weary of zoom meetings, this is one time we can really enjoy it! We want to see Fido, Fluffy, Spike & Polly, and you on St. Francis Day!
Whose in the Pew?
Sandra Braham
A “cradle Episcopalian,” Sandra Brahamfirst attended Holy Nativity when it was in a barn that sat on the hill which Aina Haina School now occupies; her Sunday School classroom was a cow stall! Later, as an adult, she taught Sunday School at Holy Nativity for 7th and 8th grades.
Sandra attended the University of New Mexico and the University of Hawaii and then worked as a paralegal/secretary. She met her husband in Hawaii, was married in Michigan and has a son and grandson. She taught swimming at Kailua District Park and at Kaneohe YWCA.
Sandra is devoted to the worship life of the church. She received her EFM (Education for Ministry) Certificate, her EM (Eucharistic Minister) and Visiting EM Certificates, and is a founding member of Daughters of the King at Holy Nativity. She currently serves as head of the Altar Guild. The Altar Guild currently has three teams and, because of COVID-19, is operating with two people per team. Sandra also assists with preparation for funerals and other special services.
Sandra lives in Kailua and is within walking distance to the beach. She has a sun fish, a type of small boat. She enjoys sailing, water skiing, hiking, walking on the beach and working in her gardens at home. (Thankfully, there are no cow stalls in her life now!)
PARISH
PRAYER LIST
BEING REFRESHED NOW
Please email the church office at hncparish@gmail.com to let us know if you would like loved one to remain on or be added to the list.
COVID SURGE PRECAUTIONS
During this current COVID surge we need to make some changes to worship that we hope will be temporary, but are very important. Everyone will be masked during worship services. Those receiving the Sacrament will please return to your seats before consuming it. We will limit singing and suspend coffee hour. We will return to more relaxed practices just as soon as we are safely able to do so.
Mahalo for your kokua and prayers!
