Reminder

According to the DCIU Health and Safety Plan students, staff and visitors are required to wear masks in all DCIU Buildings.

We are planning a Fall Fun Day for students and staff for Friday, October 29, 2021. The day will include pumpkin decorating, relay races/team building activities and afternoon snacks. Students may not wear costumes to school. All students who are exhibiting safe behavior on that day are eligible to participate.

Being in the Green at the DCIU Ed Center

What does it mean to be in the Green?

Being in the Green means a students point sheet average is 85 or higher.

Students who are in the Green can:

• Participate in earned gym, music or art
• Purchase top shelf snacks at dismissal
• Purchase items from the cash out cart mid day
• Purchase items from school store
• Participate in special activities and trips - as announced
• Other activities to be announced

Daily Point Sheets

All students are provided with a daily point sheet at the end of the day that is a reflection of the students day. Students who return their point sheet with a parent signature are entered in a weekly drawing for a WaWa gift card.
