The State of Texas joined the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC), a consortium managed by the Pew Charitable Trust to assist with voter registration data. Sen. Bryan Hughes will be joining us to talk about Texas' participation in this program and what that means for the 2022 mid-term election.
Our very good friend Rep. Jacey Jetton will be on to give us his thoughts on the state of Texas politics, national news, the November election and the interim work that the legislature has been engaged in.
The ever vigilant and hard working Rhonda Lacy is going to be on to give us an update on the Mighty Texas Strike Force (MTSF) and how they are organizing for a massive get out the vote effort this fall. MTSF is also heavily involved in voter registration this summer. Learn more about all their activities and how you can be part of their critical efforts!

I have no doubt you have heard about the shocking raid on President Trump's house this week. This move will have historical, constitutional implications as well as an immediate impact on the upcoming mid-term elections. President Trump has even indicated it may be influencing his decision about 2024.

- The FBI's unprecedented raid on President Trump’s home is a political weaponization of the Justice Department by the Biden administration.
- Democrats are out-of-control and using government agencies against political opponents.
- Why haven’t we heard from the White House or the Justice Department?
- This is just the latest weaponization of government against President Trump.
- The Clinton campaign fed the phony Steele Dossier to the FBI during the 2016 election, which led to FISA warrants and the Justice Department spying on the Trump campaign.
- After an exhaustive search and wasting $32 million taxpayer dollars the Mueller Report showed no collusion and no obstruction of justice.
- Democrats launched a partisan and political impeachment against President Trump over Ukraine, even though all evidence showed he did nothing wrong.
- New York Democrat Attorney General Letitia James weaponized the state's legal system against President Trump, openly campaigning in 2018 that she would use her office to investigate him.
- The FBI finds time to raid the home of the former president, but not:
- Hunter Biden;
- Hillary Clinton;
- Far-left radicals attacking churches and pro-life organizations.
- The last thing we need is another government expansion that will grant investigative power against Americans and that’s exactly what the Democrats voted for Sunday night.
- The Democrats' bill would give the IRS $80 billion to hire 87,000 additional agents.
- If they can do this to a former President imagine what a Rose Bowl size stadium of IRS agents can do to everyday Americans.

Yesterday, the Bureau of Economic Analysis released new data indicating the U.S. economy shrank 0.9% in the second quarter of 2022, meeting his own economic advisers’ definition of a recession.

The widely accepted definition of a recession is two quarters of negative growth.

Both Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi have said this is the definition of a recession.

As the Excuse-Maker-in-Chief, Biden has not only downplayed predictions of a looming recession, but has even tried to redefine the word “recession.”
- Regardless of how the Biden administration tries to classify this, the American people feel this recession.

Hardworking Americans know exactly who is to blame, two-thirds of Americans disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy.
- Today’s economic news confirms what most Americans already knew: the Biden economy isn’t working for them.

In June, the Consumer Price Index increased by 9.1% compared to last year, exceeding economists’ expectations and reaching a new 40-year high.

June’s Producer Price Index rose by 11.3% since last year, marking the seventh consecutive month of double-digit gains in producer prices and a near-record high.

Real average hourly earnings fell 3.6% over the last year, marking the 15th month in a row under Biden in which inflation has outpaced wages.

Inflation has cost the average American household over $5,500 since the Democrats’ failed $1.9 trillion “stimulus” was passed, and would cost the average family an additional $8,600 over the next year even if inflation stopped today.
- The American people cannot afford Joe Biden and his reckless economic policies.
The bottom line:
Even though they point fingers in every direction but their own, Biden and Democrats are to blame for this disastrous economy. American families and small businesses can't afford Biden and his policies. In November, the American people will hold Biden and Democrats accountable for their destructive economic agenda – they’ll elect Republicans up and down the ballot who will fight for more jobs, faster economic growth, and higher wages.
