The Magick and Ritual of Freddie Mercury

Join Temple HPS Karen Ainsworth in celebration and ritual to honour the life and legacy of...

Freddie Mercury: Lover of Life, Singer of Songs

On September 5th 1946, the world was gifted with an incredible phenomenon when, like the priceless emerald from Lucifer’s crown, one of the brightest stars in musical history fell to earth in the form of Farrokh Bulsara, who was to go on and change the lives and destinies of so many. Messenger of the Gods, the magick and everlasting legacy of his words and deeds will surely live on forever.

His story is one of transformation and determination, a phoenix from the flames rising, yet like Icarus, he flew too close to the sun and was met with an early and untimely death. Through his artwork and the words of his songs, we see the prophet and seer, a man who was going to let nothing get in his way. Since his death, the Mercury Phoenix Trust has raised over £17 million, funding research and projects that have helped to ensure that AIDS is no longer the death sentence it once was, a disease that brutally claimed Freddie’s life.

Tranquillity of the soul and sheer conviction in life is something that so many of us long to feel and exhibit, and it’s through the magick of Freddie Mercury that we can rediscover that lost part of ourselves. To some, he may have been nothing more than an entertainer on the surface, but what many have felt for generations is that his message was not just one of showbiz, but something far more sacred.

November 24th 2021 is the 30-year anniversary of his passing, his Greater Feast Day, so let’s honour him as the true ancestor and inspiration that he is and together ensure that his light forever burns bright.

This class and ritual will be recorded and shared with participants after the event.
