The Lovejoy Boys Cross Country Team brought home the Bronze in the State Championship.

It was amazing to have both of our teams recognized on the State Championship podium. We are #LovejoyProud of these incredible athletes and coaches and their extraordinary success this season!

Our Sloan Creek Intermediate School 5th graders returned from camp today. The students experienced a great few days of learning and fun. While their visit started with a bit of rain, it ended with bright sunshine for a day filled with activities.

Last night was a special night for our Lovejoy Community as we came together to cheer for Football, Band, Guard, Cheer and Majestics under Thursday Night Lights. We were highlighted on a national level on ESPNU and although we lost a hard-fought game, we were most assuredly One Heart. One Lovejoy.

We were so proud of the opportunity to celebrate and honor our Seniors, the Class of 2022, last night.

We are excited to congratulate Lovejoy Orchestra on their All-Region Success! Over the past two Saturdays, Lovejoy Orchestra members auditioned against hundreds of other orchestra students from North Texas with students from Sloan Creek Intermediate School, Willow Springs Middle School, and Lovejoy High School being selected to be members of the Region 25 Orchestras. If you have not yet had an opportunity to visit the Lovejoy High Campus Show, located in the Visual Arts Gallery, it is a must see! It is a show full of incredible art, created by talented students, who are supported by outstanding teachers.

I had the opportunity to attend two very special events this past weekend.

The Lovejoy High School "For the Love of Bots" Competition was amazing! Congratulations to WSMS 1082A for winning the Excellence Award for Middle Schools, LHS 1082C for taking the Tournament Championship, and LHS 1082X for winning the Design Award.

We would like to share a special thanks to our coaches, staff, and parents who give so very generously of their time to make these events so successful.

Following the Robotics competition my family and I very much enjoyed the WSMS production of Cinderella. The cast, crew, and directors were spectacular!
