Dear Ela,

How did this happen? Only now—at the end of the year, and years into this work—have I fully embraced why I put those playful clouds by Ideas: to let ourselves dream freely and big. It's been transformational in my life and work, even my daily compass.

What might you dream for your holiday experience? Or for your life, family, or work in 2023?

To dreaming (and a still-fall-somewhere newsletter),

Enjoy New Stories

As Michael and Donna Dawson recount in a recent podcast with Kyle Wagner (on Spotify or Apple), their program Innovators for Purpose equips teens to create positive impact. They often start with an Innovators' Compass to explore what they're passionate to change—like the disparities that "should not be" in their community.

Educator Michael Hernandez uses the Compass in his Journalism final. Students reflect on their first semester (e.g. "From interviews with our audience, we found a lack of visibility and access to our journalism content") and dream ideas for the next term. Try some reflaction in your class!
