Welcome New Staff!

The Volunteer Center staff took some time away from the screen to unplug and recharge during our annual staff retreat at Copper House. It was a day full of great conversation and great company as we focused on the mission and vision of our organization. We spent time working together on team building, brainstorming, and reconnecting with one another.

A big thank you to Pam and David of Copper House Events for welcoming us bright and early and offering us a beautiful space to work! The atmosphere you provided was just what we needed!

If you're in need of a space for your next retreat or event, Copper House is the perfect place!

A special thank you to Sonia Stamm, Stamm Consulting, for facilitating our retreat! You were a fantastic addition to our team for the day and we are grateful for all the support and guidance you offered. You made the day a productive and collaborative experience.

Thank you, Sonia!

What our members are saying...

"As a longtime VC member, we’ve drawn support from the VC as our program has grown and evolved over the years. The ability to connect with area businesses and fellow non-profits is invaluable. Whether the focus is on developing, educating, coordinating or recognizing volunteers, the VC has helped facilitate and expand our associations and enhance our volunteer outreach."

“Every non-profit leader struggles to find the time to fully support a well-functioning board. Onboarding new board members, especially those who may not have much board experience, is challenging. The LEAD Now program provided a good foundation on a variety of topics necessary for new board members to understand and execute good governance on behalf of our organization.
