Field Trip payments through FACTS!

Charges for field trips are being invoiced through your FACTS account. Those who initially signed up for Auto Pay must go back into your account to select Auto Pay for incidentals. You will receive an email from FACTS notifying you that payment will be made from your account on a specific date. Those of you not on Auto Pay will receive the same invoice prompting you to go into your account to authorize payment on or before the due date. Due dates will be set for 4 business days prior to the field trip. At the bottom of the email is an explanation of the charge, i.e. “Grade X Field Trip”. We very much prefer payment made through your FACTS account. The cost of each field trip will also be on the permission slip. Permission slips either paper or google form must be returned/submitted completed to the homeroom teachers.

SFX ATHLETICS

Hello Falcon Families -

Our indoor fall sports season is upon us!  5th/6th girls volleyball home games begin tomorrow at SFX at 4:15, 5:00, and 5:45pm at SFX gym. The Concession Stand will be serving Jimmy John's sandwiches In addition to our standard drinks, chips and candy.

Thank you for your continued support!

Pat McMahon, AD

SFX Cross Country ran its first 35 team conference meet at a tough Naperville May Watts Park. In team scoring 5G, 6B and7B finished 1st followed by 8G 2nd, 8B 4th and 6G 5th. 5B and 7B were unable to score due to insufficient number of runners.

SFX Harriers will race their 2nd SPLXC conference meet at another tough DGS&R Club course Saturday 9/10. With the Labor Day holiday behind the team we look to have scoring teams at all levels!

Congratulations to JV Football who beat SJC 21-13 on Saturday at Nazareth. The varsity football team came up short against a tough SJC team.

SFX plays St. Gabriel on 9/17 at Taylor Lauridsen Field, 704 W. 42nd St, Chicago at 1:30 and 3:00pm

Two strong efforts this past week by the 8th Grade Blue Girls Basketball team. Unfortunately both games ended in defeat against Notre Dame and SJC. They play SJC again on Thursday, 15th, at SJC. Game starts at 5.45pm and the girls would love your support!

Great effort by the 7th Grade Blue Girls Basketball team lost their first game 10-8 to Notre Dame. The team played hard and it came down to the final seconds. Outstanding performance on offense, tough defense and rebounding. The 7th Blue team is looking forward to an exciting season.

Good luck 7B Girls Basketball - 1st game is this Thursday 9/15.

Thank you to all the Cheerleaders and Cheerleading Coaches for bringing the Falcon spirit that kicked off the 2022-2023 Parent Curriculum Nights!

Go Falcons!

The Junior Falcon Club is a great way for your young bird, ages Pre-school 3 - 1st grade, to show their support of the many SFX athletic games and events.

The Junior Falcons Club invites you and your children to join us at our first event of the Fall season. We will be cheering on the SFX Cross Country teams at an important meet held at Lombard Commons Park Saturday September 24th.

Join us at 9:30am at a table at the NE corner of the park. From there we will make signs, make noise and have fun. We would love to know if you plan to join us, but formal RSVP is not needed.
