BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS
We will begin a new tradition on Welcome Home Sunday. On the second Sunday of each month, blessings will be offered in worship to all who are celebrating a birthday.

BACKPACK BLESSINGS
We will recognize all those returning to school and involved in the ministry of education (inside and outside the church) by blessing backpacks, lunch boxes, and briefcases during our worship services.

- Parents of young children (Age 3-5th grade) will meet with Director of Children and Family Ministry Amanda Wischkaemper.

- Parents and youth (grades 6th-12th) meet with Director of Youth Ministry Kelsey Cooper.
The orientations are scheduled separately so parents with children in both ministries may attend both sessions.

SING OUT: WHY AND HOW WE SING IN CHURCH

Join Director of Music, Bethell Hall, Mark Wischkaemper in Crail C as we explore the history of singing in church and learn (or refresh) what all those dots and lines on a page of music mean. We’ll talk about the development of congregational music in church, how to use the rich liturgical tool that is the Hymnal 1982, and get into some basics of sight-reading so you will feel more comfortable making a joyful noise unto the Lord every Sunday.

Led by Pastor Angela, this retreat is a chance for women of the parish to get away for rest, relaxation, and fellowship.
