Performing Arts Groups

The public is invited to participate in instrumental, dance, and vocal performing arts groups at RVCC this fall. Those interested do not have to be enrolled at the College to participate in the programs, which are open to anyone who is high school-age or older.
Rennes School of Business

RVCC has renewed its transfer agreement with the Rennes School of Business (RSB) in France. The agreement enables students who have received an Associate Degree in Business from RVCC to seamlessly transfer to RSB’s International Bachelor Program in Management and complete a Bachelor’s Degree in one year. All of the courses at RSB are taught in English.

RVCC has more than 90 agreements with colleges and universities throughout the US and abroad that facilitate transfer for students.
Learning Through Experience

High school students, educators, and all members of the community may participate in an online event, “Learning Through Experience: The Incredible Power of One—One Person Can Make a Difference,” October 15, 10-11 a.m., sponsored by RVCC’s Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies.

Jeannie Opdyke Smith will share the riveting true story her mother, Irene Gut Opdyke, a nursing student when the Nazis invaded Poland, who risked her life to save Jews during the Holocaust. The program will begin with the compelling story of Tova Friedman, a native of Poland who was a child survivor of Auschwitz.

Did you Know?

RVCC has an Honors College, which offers students the opportunity to take smaller, seminar-style courses with an interdisciplinary focus. Graduates of the Honors College have transferred to such highly selective schools as Georgetown University, Cornell University, Yale University, Pratt Institute, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Admissions to the Honors College is highly selective. Students who are not admitted to the Honors College may still take individual honors courses if they meet the defined entrance requirements.
