Join us for Doing the Work 2.0 Anti-Racist teaching and learning

Our CAFE Winter Institute 2023 invites faculty to consider together what it means and how to offer a course that goes beyond using generally effective strategies to being anti-racist. This is a 5-day in-person Institute, to be held on CPP campus. Please plan to be on campus Jan. 10 – 12, 16 & 17, 10am to 4pm.

The End of Blackboard - Get Your Content!

As of June 30, 2023, Cal Poly Pomona's contract with Blackboard will be over. After that time, no one at Cal Poly Pomona will be able to retrieve any data from Blackboard in any way. Faculty and staff are encouraged to review CAFE’s tutorials and upcoming workshops to learn more about retrieving data they wish to keep, such as course or organization materials, rosters and grades, and student work.

Most course content and organization content, including documents, can be exported from Blackboard and imported to Canvas. Course content and documents can also be manually downloaded and then placed in Cal Poly Pomona's OneDrive system, other secure cloud-based solution, or retained on a secure hard drive.

Faculty Peer-to-Peer Reciprocal Coaching Program

Faculty from five Engineering departments, Physics, Math, Economics, Architecture, and a special section of First Year Composition for Civil Engineers will visit each other’s classrooms to observe and give collegial feedback in an interdisciplinary peer-to-peer reciprocal coaching program.
