WE LOVE YOUR WILDCAT PRIDE!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the extraordinary excitement and enthusiasm of our Wildcat Fans during Homecoming Week! Our school spirit is NOT something that one can easily describe, it’s just that feeling you get when you walk onto either campus and witness the “community.” You will likely see volunteers decorating doors, students participating in daily spirit themes, football players and cheerleaders visiting the Japonica campus with BIG smiles as they personally interact with the tiniest Wildcats, a pep rally for the preschool and then another big pep rally for 1st-12th grade, jumpies, waterslides, games galore, cookouts (thank you, Booster Club!), & families tailgating under the beautiful oaks! Your school spirit was palpable as you proudly wore your SLES t-shirts to cheer on the Wildcats Friday evening!
Of course, none of this would be possible without the many, many, many volunteers that make St. Luke’s….well, St. Luke’s! We owe a special shout out to so many people, especially the Cheerleaders, Wildcat Band, SGA, Mrs. Susan Gaston-Jones, Alicia Matthews & Katrina Busby for all of their endless hard work to make this week so special.
In the end, this is what makes St. Luke’s special and exciting! We cherish the participation from our teachers, our spirited students & parents, and coaches! We will forever be thankful for all of the little moments, BIG moments and togetherness. Go Wildcats!
