No child should have to start their first day of school without a new backpack!

Carver Center hosted a backpack drive on September 1st thanks to our friends at Kings Capital Construction. 200 Port Chester children from the JFK Elementary School received brand new backpacks filled with much-needed supplies.

The children and families also enjoyed the free pizza and ice cream that was provided to all.

Our always popular Dinner @ Noon program begins on Saturday, September 24 and will continue through December. Come join us from 10am - 12pm for some great conversation and a free hot meal!

CARVER SCHOLARS

Carver Center's selective Teen Scholars Program is accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year.
 
The Scholars Program is a free yearlong commitment that helps students develop the skills, habits and knowledge they need to navigate life through their high school experience and future careers.
 
Applications are due October 6.

CITZENSHIP CLASSES

Meet Francisco Vargas, originally from Mexico. He was one of the 10 hardworking and dedicated individuals who were enrolled in our Citizenship Classes and became new U.S. citizens in the month of August.
