"Congratulations to all schools for their hard work, growth, and success. I'm excited to know that our students are improving and look forward to continued growth. We still have work to do at both high schools, each of those schools are making tremendous strides. Both our elementary schools made tremendous growth and were just a few points away from both having a Good rating for this year. Kudos to all staff, students, parents, and the Board of Education for working hard to improve teaching and learning!"

- Dr. Sam Whack, Jr., Acting Superintendent

Let's Get Educated, Renewing the Penny

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with The Penny Plan to support Jasper County School Projects!

Projected Annual Revenue Generated for Jasper County Schools Projects Funding:

  • $8,450,000 per year increasing 1% per year through 2040

  • A significant portion of sales taxes in Jasper County are paid by non-residents

  • Under the plan, debt service millage in the School District will not increase.

A "YES" vote will:

  • Continue generating revenue for critical school facility projects.

  • Help fund the construction and renovation of educational buildings without raising property taxes.

  • Ensure we provide safe and modern learning environments for our students.

A "NO" vote will require the School District to find other funding sources (such as increased property taxes) to pay for capital improvements

Student Spotlight

Submitted by Mr. Stefan Bauroth, Assistant Principal, HES

Hardeeville Elementary School is proud to submit Angel Solano, 5th Grade, Mrs. Tomlinson's Class, as our student of the week!

Academically, Angel consistently scores in the top 10% of his grade level on iReady and always completes classwork and homework on time. However, Angel's contributions extend beyond academics. He is a supportive friend and mentor to our students, always willing to help new students adjust to the school. He mentors them throughout the day, assisting them with routines, homework, classwork, and expectations. Thank you for being awesome, Angel!
