The CloudCoin Consortium is officially setting up a Swiss Verein (SV).
An SV is a voluntary association and the same type of structure used by non-profits and associations like the World Wildlife Fund and FIFA.
The Consortium Verein is being established in Switzerland's Zug Canton, also know as “Crypto Valley.”
CloudCoin Consortium Swiss Verein will allow the Consortium to better:
- Develop and support an optimal ecosystem and implementation of bespoke solutions based on RAIDA technology (post-blockchain technology), with the help of cutting-edge comprehensive digital authentication solutions that protect the data transmission, personal privacy, financial security, organizational integrity, and intellectual property
- Raise awareness of the benefits of RAIDA technology and to develop the tools to improve the usability of that technology
- Support and implement RAIDA technology to different businesses, including a wide array of industries and verticals, including communications, finance, FinTech, healthcare, and artificial intelligence, blockchain, and other distributed ledger technologies, in Switzerland and internationally
- Present meaningful informational content about RAIDA technology in Switzerland and internationally.
- Balance the interests of start-ups, investors, industry, government, and others in Switzerland and internationally.
- Advocate and mediate for a more supportive business, regulatory, and innovation environment for implementation of RAIDA technology
The Consortium SV will also affirm professional character and outreach in bringing together all participants within the ecosystem and provides a supportive platform for the ecosystem and wider community on a national and global level. It will promote a climate favorable to the interests of the ecosystem community, including entrepreneurship and the advancement of an information society, while respecting the diversity of cultures and fostering transparency, inclusivity and collegiality among its members.
This has been a long standing effort and thanks are due to the Consortium members who have worked over several years to make the SV a reality, including Adrian Kizyma, Greg Stout, Ace Fogerson, Ilya Vlasyuk, Paul Iszler, Adrian Niculescu, Lorne Green and Mike Bulbuck.

Will Cloudoin blast off like Shatner?

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 What just happened? Did William Shatner finally blast off to space after 55 or so years? Well yes, and as a fan of Star Trek, I am happy Shatner had the opportunity to do something that wasn’t available until now, and doing it at the ripe young age of 90. Shatner's Captain Kirk portrayal brought many of us fans and dreamers along with him, and personally brought me back to the memories of sitting with my dad betting if Captain Kirk was going to survive the fight or if he was going to get the big hair babe. But I am counting down the availability of something even more profound, something universal and monumental that has only begun.
CloudCoin, the only currency that has data and Klingon supremacy [editor's note: CloudCoin translated to Klingon is 'eng te'be'] is on its last release and no more will be minted. Yes, it took Captain Kirk fifty five years to travel 1.4 billion light years if you count this last voyage, but CloudCoin released 1.4 billion coins in just five. I am not discounting Captain Kirk, but the moment for CloudCoin just happened, it is now and real. We knew it was coming, we told our family and friends or maybe didn’t, but the day has come and it is moving warp speeds from here.
If you didn’t load up when you planned to, there may be a few available sites to purchase from but it will be at a discounted rate of 10x of what it was just a year ago. I only say that because it will be 10x more before your next trek.

Happy Birthday Albert J. Nock
|
|
Oct. 13 was the 151st birthday of American author and historian Albert J. Nock.
Nock was a leading advocate of individualism and opponent of centralized government power, including centralization of economic and monetary power. His masterful Our Enemy, The State (1935, download) is still a landmark of thought nearly a century later.
Nock, the son of Pennsylvania clergyman, was founding editor of the week The Freeman in the early 1920s. He was also noted as one of the top biographers of Thomas Jefferson.
Nock wrote frequently throughout the mid-20th century about the evils of the Roosevelt New Deal, the growth of government power in the US and the threats of totalitarianism abroad in publications including American Mercury, Atlantic Monthly, Harper’s Saturday Review of Literature and Scribner’s.
He passed away in 1945 at the age of 74.
