Early Alert, an Imagine Canada newsletter!
For far too long, Canada has lacked a comprehensive resource examining Canada’s charitable sector. That has now ended. With contributions from 52 authors, Intersections and Innovations: Change in Canada’s Voluntary and Nonprofit Sector explores issues ranging from governance to technology and social innovation. Nonprofit sector policy wonks will no doubt be especially interested in chapters 29 - 32, which focus on public policy issues ranging from building policy capacity to the role for foundations in supporting policy change. The book is an invaluable resource for the nonprofit sector. Even better, thanks to the Muttart Foundation, it is available for free online!
Tailored to prospective, new, and experienced non-profit board members, executive directors, CEOs, and corporate partners, Capacity Canada’s 90-minute webinars on emerging governance strategies are an ideal way for you to meet your professional development goal. With our new four-part webinar series, ‘Emerging Governance Strategies: Driving Difficult Board Discussions,’ we aim to prepare you and your board for any unforeseeable risk and crisis.
