As most of you are already aware, Governor DeSantis signed the Freedom First budget which provided over $600 million in funding to AHCA, with the sole purpose of increasing the minimum wage for employees of Medicaid providers to at least $15.00 an hour. To ensure compliance AHCA must enter into a supplemental wage agreement with each and every Medicaid provider that bill using the approved fee schedules. You MUST sign the supplemental wage agreement for each location. If you have multiple facilities or agencies, you must sign one for each. All of our MCCFL clients that accept Medicaid fall in the fee schedules that MUST sign the agreement BEFORE 10/1/2022.
