THIS SUNDAY AFTER CHURCH
OCTOBER 17, 12- 3 PM
Thanks to Cathy McElroy and friends, we're ready to have some fun together this Sunday, after church, noon-3 PM. We can always use more helpers! Sign up HERE.

And then - bring a lawn chair so you can settle in and singalong to some golden oldies from the 70s with Eric from DizzyFIsh. And then there's a musical mural, cake carousel, donut bobbing, rock painting, other lawn games ... it's all good, it's all fun!

Due to Covid we can't offer food, so we suggest you might bring something of your own to tide you over ... the festivities start up at noon and end by 3PM.

n.b., We have invited the greater public to join us. If you see a face you don't recognize, please introduce yourself, and make our new friends feel welcome.

The Youth Group will meet at 11:00 AM for a special field survey of our church campus. Tour guide Gregory Steele, a TUCW congregant and father of Paige Steele (member of the youth choir) and a certified arborist and naturalist, will spend the next two Sundays guiding our youth on an exploration of our property, teaching about the many and diverse ecosystems that exist right before our eyes, some of which already show signs of stress due to human behavior. As the youth prepare for a culminating journey to Alaska in April, we begin our journey of environmental awareness first locally.
The Youth Group is raising funds for their Alaska Mission Trip in April, 2022. We are facilitating a Bottle and Can Redemption Drive. If you would like to donate your household collections of returnable bottles and cans (plastic, glass, and aluminum), bring them to church the next three Sundays (October 17th, 24th and 31st). We will be outside the sanctuary to collect your returnables. And please! rinse your bottles and cans before donating them!
