We are back on campus with in person classes and hopeful that COVID cases will continue their sharp decline in our community.
A few weeks ago we celebrated the announcement that Dr. Robin Holmes-Sullivan will be the next President of Lewis & Clark. She will be the first woman and the first person of color to serve as Lewis & Clark’s President in the college’s 155-year history, and her exceptional leadership earned her strong support from the law school community. I am looking forward to introducing Robin to you at future events on campus and around the nation.
Speaking of events, we have several upcoming alumni networking opportunities in March and April for you to learn from our professors, as well as connect with each other. I am looking forward to seeing many of you in person at the Distinguished Honors Award Dinner on April 2, with fingers crossed that we can safely gather again for this great event!
I often hear from employers how much they value our graduates and their preparation to practice law. If you are hiring this spring, now (by Feb. 28) is the time to register for our Spring Hiring Event or ask for a custom search. With virtual interviews, our career services team make it easy for you to connect with students and alums.
I hope to see many of you virtually at the 31st Annual PILP Auction on Saturday, February 26 at 6:30 p.m. where wewill raise funds to support students with summer internships at nonprofit organizations. Register to attend and plan to bid on some fun packages and support our students!
