Fixin' to Save Has Record-breaking Year
2024 has been the busiest year yet for GMHS' Fixin' to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic since opening in 2008. The clinic altered 4,541 pets this year! That's an increase of 364 surgeries over last year! These animals include GMHS pets and pets from members of our community, other local shelters and rescues, and community cats. We are grateful for a wonderful year and look forward to continuing to offer access to low- and no-cost spay/neuter surgeries in 2025!

Shelter Pet Spotlight - Oreo 3 | |
Can you help us find Oreo 3 her forever home?
This 13 year old senior sweetheart came into our care as a stray in September. With her friendly demeanor and independent spirit, she's a perfect companion for those seeking a low-maintenance pet. She gets along well with her feline peers. Her mellow nature means she's content to spend her days lounging and receiving the occasional affectionate pet. Oreo 3 doesn't ask for much, but she has a lot to give. Adopt her and experience the joy of sharing your home with a cat who knows how to appreciate the simple things in life!
