This Best of BobBlast was originally broadcast as a PepTalk! For the most part, the collective "we" have been working in isolation, with an occasional zoom workshop scheduled... we feel that this could be a good time to plan to rejoin the human race, AND walk back into our studios with a renewed commitment of time and energy to create!

Looking for Positive Inspiration
The isolation over the past eighteen months has taken its toll on our collective worthiness - so every morning I tell myself to buck up! This is what we got right now… One way that I stay UP is to look for - and find inspiration from those who have plowed the field before us.
•Who are our mentors?
•Who do we look up to?
•Who has inspired us to continue… even when we were ready to give up?
•What do they have that we aspire to?
I have a small sign In my studio. It reads… Play Like a Champion Today
If you're a college football fan, you may recognize this quote from Notre Dame's inspirational, motivational, positive coach, Lou Holtz. His team would tap a similar sign on the way to the playing field before each game.
In a fortunate stroke of serendipity, his personal assistant took one of my workshops. I told her how my sons and I watched all the Notre Dame games. A few weeks later, I received one of his signs, personalized for me. He wrote "Bob - Paint like a Champion Everyday, Lou Holtz".
Best encouragement I've ever received. It makes a difference… everyday. Find a mentor who inspires you.
