Friends of the Library Book Shop


The Friends of the Library Book Shop is the perfect place to find great reads without breaking the bank. With most books priced at $1 or less, you can stock up on your favorite genres or discover new authors.

Located on the first floor of the library, the shop is open during regular library hours. So come on down and start your new year off right with a good book! They also accept donations too!


Library of Things


Looking to learn a new skill or hobby? Want to explore your creativity? Our Library of Things has something for everyone. From musical instruments to tools and games, our collection is constantly growing. Each item can be checked out for one week and must be returned to the Circulation Desk.

Youth Programs

Food Smarts (8-12 year olds)

Thursday, Jan 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb 6, 13 at 4:30 PM

Unleash Your Inner Chef! Join us for a fun-filled cooking adventure with Gleaners. Learn about healthy eating, try new recipes, and take home your own cookbook and chef's hat. This class will meet for 90 minutes each Thursday for 6 weeks. Please note that attendance at all sessions is mandatory. Space is limited, sign up here.

ASL Storytime

Saturday, January 11at 10:00 AM

Join the Holley Institute for a special storytime for Deaf, Deaf blind, Deaf disabled, and Hard of Hearing children from 10-12.  Stories, signs, and socializing for the whole family! No sign up required.

Kokedama "Plant Balls"

Wednesday, January 15 at 6:30 PM

Join Tera H for a fun lesson in Kokedama the Japanese art of growing plants in a moss-covered ball of soil wrapped with string or mono-filament fishing line. These plants are beautiful, earth friendly, and a lovely way to decorate your home! This class is intended for children ages 10 and up and space is limited. Join non-profit Leaders Advancing & Helping Communities (LAHC) for Eat Smart, Live Strong. This 6 week series will feature weekly sessions on nutrition education, fitness tips, and healthy snack options. Learn more here.
