NEXT FRIDAY
Meet Republican Candidate
Katherine Parker on August 12th!
Join us NEXT FRIDAY, August 12th, to meet Katherine Parker, our Republican nominee for HD 74.
If you missed last week's email, as a reminder we are going to be introducing many of you to Katherine Parker. She is an absolute rock star and I promise that you are in for a treat. Not only is she a great candidate for the Texas House she is an amazing woman who is going to be a future leader in our party.

Speaking of rock stars and leaders, don't miss an update from Sen. Bryan Hughes and Rep. Jacey Jetton! And in case that wasn't enough we are going to be hearing from Rhonda Lacy about the Mighty Texas Strike Force. As many of you already know, the Strike Force is the program that deploys Republican volunteers across the state and the country to provide ground forces in critical races.
As promised I am including Besa Martin's Red vs Blue Point of View notes on education. Besa will be back next week with another topic arming you with the facts to win hearts and minds for Republican votes in November.
You will be able to find all of Besa's notes as well as the recordings of all our past meetings on my website here.
Register below for this jam packed call below!

100 Days Until Midterm Elections
  • Today, Sunday, July 31st, marks 100 days until the Midterm elections on November 8th.
  • Republicans are in a strong position heading into the midterm elections, including taking back the House and Senate majorities.
  1. Republicans need to win just 4 seats to win the majority in the House of Representatives.
  2. In the Senate, Republicans need to pick up one seat to win the majority.
  • We have seen high Republican turnout in the primaries that have already occurred.
  1. Mayra Flores flipped TX-34, a historically deep blue, 84% Hispanic district in the Rio Grande Valley. Democrats won TX-34 by 25.4% in 2016, 20% in 2018, and 13.6% in 2020.
  2. In North Carolina, Republican turnout was 86% higher than it was in the 2018 midterms.
  3. In Pennsylvania, Republican turnout was 75% higher than it was in the 2018 midterms.
  4. In Ohio, Republicans saw the highest turnout in a midterm primary ever. Republican turnout doubled Democrat turnout and grew by over 20% compared to 2018.
  • Voters across the country have already nominated a great slate of candidates at the congressional, statewide, and local level:
  1. Strong statewide Senate candidates including Dr. Oz, JD Vance, Adam Laxalt, Katie Britt, Joe O’Dea, and Ted Budd.
  2. Hispanic Congressional candidates including Monica de la Cruz (TX), Michelle Garcia Holmes (NM), Yesli Vega (VA), and Cassy Garcia (TX).
  3. Female Congressional candidates including Madison Gesiotto Gilbert (OH), Jen Kiggans (VA), April Becker (NV), Esther Joy King (IL), Mary Miller (IL), and Erin Houchin (IN).
  4. Black Congressional candidates including Wesley Hunt (TX), John James (MI), and Jennifer-Ruth Green (IN).
  5. APA candidates including Michelle Steel (CA), Young Kim (CA), and Hung Cao (VA).
  6. Candidates who served in our military including Morgan Luttrell (TX), Ryan Zinke (MT), and Derrick Van Orden (WI).
  • Republicans are focusing on issues that matter to families and voters in all communities: education, keeping our communities safe, and rising prices for everything from gas to groceries.
  • Joe Biden’s approval rating continues to fall and he is a drag on Democrat candidates. Joe Biden and Democrats have brought crisis after crisis and the American people are paying the price.
  1. A supply chain crisis and inflation at a 40 year high;
  2. A baby formula shortage that has left families struggling to feed infants;
  3. Gas prices well above $4 per gallon in most states;
  4. An out of control border crisis that has made our communities less safe;
  5. Rising crime in Democrat-run cities across the country;
  6. A disastrous foreign policy agenda that has America leading from behind, a crisis in Ukraine because of Biden’s weak leadership, and a botched Afghanistan withdrawal that left Americans killed and stranded.
  • The RNC is already heavily invested, and is ready to deliver victories up and down the Republican ticket come November.
  1. We already have over 300 staffers on the ground in key battleground states across the country.
  2. To date, our team has already made over 39 million voter contacts ahead of the midterms. This is more than at the same point in 2018 (14.4 million).
  3. We have engaged 550,000 volunteers.
  4. We have continued to invest in state-of-the-art data and voter score technology, shared with every Republican candidate free of charge.
  • The RNC has made significant investments to grow our Party with minority communities.
  1. As part of our investment in all communities, we have opened more than 30 RNC Community Centers (Black, Hispanic, Asian Pacific American, Native American, and Jewish American) within the past year.
  • Under Chairwoman McDaniel’s leadership, the RNC started the Republican Civics Initiative (RCI) which offers a 10 hour course to help future voters pass the civics portion of their citizenship test.
  • We have redoubled our voter registration efforts in key states like North Carolina, Florida, and Pennsylvania.
  1. In Pennsylvania, Republicans have closed the voter registration gap by over 145,000 since election day 2020 and over 376,000 since election day 2016.
  2. In North Carolina, Republicans have closed the voter registration gap by over 96,000 since election day 2020 and over 350,000 since election day 2016.
  3. In Florida, in 2016, Democrats had a 330,000 voter registration advantage. Today, Republicans have over 137,000 more voters than Democrats. That is a gain of more than 475,000 voters.
  • Additionally, the RNC’s election integrity operation is helping to ensure secure, fair, and transparent elections in 2022. See our efforts at protectthevote.com.
  1. The RNC has spent millions of dollars on supporting election laws around the country that increase transparency and make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.
  2. The RNC has 17 in-state election integrity directors and nearly 30 in-state election integrity counsels to ensure that elections are free, fair, and transparent in key states.
  3. Our unprecedented election integrity ground game program has recruited over 30,000 poll workers and poll watchers to ensure transparency at the ballot box in November.
  • We are confident about 2022 – but we can’t afford to get complacent.

Joe Biden's Recession
“This is Joe Biden’s recession. Biden can lie and deflect blame all he wants, but that will not alleviate the pain Americans feel every time they fill up their gas tanks, go grocery shopping, check their retirement savings, or balance their budgets. Biden and Democrats are responsible for our shrinking economy, and they’re only trying to make it worse." - RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel
What you need to know:

The bottom line:
Even though they point fingers in every direction but their own, Biden and Democrats are to blame for this disastrous economy. American families and small businesses can't afford Biden and his policies. In November, the American people will hold Biden and Democrats accountable for their destructive economic agenda – they’ll elect Republicans up and down the ballot who will fight for more jobs, faster economic growth, and higher wages.
