We were so honored to to welcome District 1 Director Teresa Armstrong of SI Downtown Redding to our club Business meeting last week.

Teresa got acquainted with some of our members, made announcements about the upcoming District 1 Meeting (see the article below) and had some fun with SI Chico!

Help Spread the Word About our Club!

We are doing a fall public awareness campaign to let our community know more about our work, hoping to recruit new potential members and give out information about our golf tournament fundraiser. Sign up for a shift in November or December of just 2 hours and tell people all about us!

Club Roster Updates!

We are working on a new version of our club roster. It looks terrific and will be very user friendly. Many of us have not updated our photos in some time. If you have a photo or headshot you would like us to use, please send it to Gail Nottingham

We will also be offering to take new photos at club.

Raffle Basket Ideas

Each committee should create a raffle basket for the Golf Tournament. Here are some ideas: Pet basket, Spa Package, Foodie Fest, Gift Card Fun, Charcuterie Essentials, Night Out, Cocktail Mixing Set, Men's or Women's Golf, Family Night Out, BBQ, Gardening, Camping, Beach Day, Farmers Market, Beer Lover or come up with your own!

Baskets should include unique items and be put together in an appealing and fun way to be most sought after. Thanks!!

Live Your Dream Portal Open til 11/15

The Live Your Dream signature program is a unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. These awards give them support to improve their education and employment prospects. We are looking for applicants! On October 15 at 6:00 p.m., the Mayor of Chico will be presenting them with the "Achievement in Arts, Outstanding Patron Award"!

This ceremony will take place at the City Council Chambers and all members are invited to attend and support our friends and the arts in Chico.
