Inspired by the late Joe Barker, once again this November a number of Robbinsville Township police officers, with the blessing of Mayor Dave Fried and Chief Chris Nitti, joined with neighboring Police Departments and PBA locals for the 5th Annual “No-Shave November” – an initiative aimed at raising funds for cancer treatment and research.
This year's beneficiary is the "JillyBean Foundation," named in memory of Jill Lecorchick, who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer at just 32 years old. Jill used her own experiences to help other women everyday and continued her valiant fight until sadly losing her battle. Her memory and goals to help others live on through the JillyBean Foundation," started in her memory by Jill's husband Kevin Lecorchick and her sister-in-law, Katrina Larson.
Since 2017, "No Shave November" efforts have raised over $18,500 for various types of cancer research and related non-profits.
Winner of the best beard for 2020 was Patrolman & School Resource Officer Edward Vincent (inset).
AND THE NUMBER IS ... 1845

The 1788–89 United States presidential election was the first quadrennial presidential election. It was held from Monday, December 15, 1788, to Saturday, January 10, 1789, under the new Constitution ratified in 1788.
However, the first uniform Election Day was not held until November 4, 1845. That means that all states voted, selecting their presidents on the same day. This increased the power of political parties and strengthened the democracy of the process. Election day is tomorrow, November 2. Please vote!
