Fall Activities During COVID-19
Autumn is officially here, and as the temperature slowly drops in Georgia, many of us are ready to partake in fall activities. Even though we’re living in a pandemic world, we can still do many fun activities, as long as we’re mindful of the precautions we should continue to take. Corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and fall festivals can be enjoyed, but it’s important to check with an establishment to see if there are any special protocols in place. Some establishments might require proof of vaccination or reservations in order to limit the number of people in attendance. If reservations aren’t required, remember to go to an event at a non-peak time to avoid large crowds, and continue to wear your mask and socially distance. If you have children and are considering trick-or-treating this year, that can be an option with precautions. Find ways to incorporate a mask into your child’s costume. For example, children can dress-up as a doctor or a ninja, or find a mask that matches the color of your child’s costume. Everyone can have fun this fall. Remember outdoor events are safer and you can always choose not to attend an event if you don’t feel comfortable.
