Are you an entrepreneur looking to open up a business?
Hear from Haverford Township residents about what businesses they want!
Every few years, Discover Haverford (formerly known as Haverford Partnership for Economic Development or HPED) conducts a survey of residents to find out what revitalization efforts are most important to them, and what businesses they would like us to recruit. Over 450 Haverford Township residents completed the survey this year.
The new restaurants that residents are most interested in are a family restaurant, coffeeshop/luncheonette, microbrewery, seafood restaurant, and fine dining. A few residents pointed out that we could use more BYOB restaurants and restaurants with outdoor seating. Another requested “more coffee shops with office/co-working spaces (or co-working / office spaces with coffee shops!) would likely go a long way given how many people work in Havertown from home.”
