How to Manage Difficult or Rogue Trustees?
Start with your Trustee Code of Conduct

As they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Every board candidate should be shown your board's Trustee Code of Conduct (or similar title) before deciding to join your board to make sure they understand the expected behaviors of a trustee and should be required to sign it after being elected to the board.
