Executive Director Transition 2025

Earlier this year, PARC’s Executive Director, Victor Willis, announced that after 25 years with PARC, he will be embarking on a new chapter in his professional journey in spring 2025.

Recognizing that this will mark a change for our community, we are inviting members, supporters, neighbours and friends of PARC to share their reflections, questions and feedback throughout the leadership transition via this online form.

Input will be collected and shared with Victor and the Board of Directors to help guide a thoughtful, integrated, and collaborative transition process.

Recruitment for PARC’s next Executive Director is underway.

In the Drop-In: International Overdose Prevention Awareness Day

August 31st was International Overdose Prevention Awareness Day. Community members, including PARC’s Patrick and Lesley, shared how overdose has affected their lives and their advocacy efforts to prevent overdose deaths.

This year’s event was especially urgent with the impending closure of over half of Ontario's supervised consumption sites. These sites are vital in reducing overdose deaths and supporting harm reduction.

If you haven’t yet, please add your voice to the fight against these closures by signing the petition here.
