In June, crews continued construction activities along the corridor:
Area 1: Reston Avenue to Colvin Forest Drive (Except Baron Cameron Avenue Intersection)
Area 1 West: Reston Avenue to Baron Cameron Avenue
- Completed drilling for noise barrier foundations along eastbound Route 7 between Bishopsgate Way and Markell Court.

Placed cement-treated aggregate and base asphalt for Stage 3B between Amanda Drive and Baron Cameron Avenue.
Area 1 East: Baron Cameron Avenue to Carpers Farm Way

Completed grading, placed cement-treated aggregate and asphalt, installed underdrain, and continued curb construction for Stage 3A along westbound Route 7 between Colvin Forest Drive and Baron Cameron Avenue.
- Continued noise barrier panel installation along westbound Route 7 between the two Colvin Run Road intersections and along eastbound Route 7 near Capital Church.
Area 2: Baron Cameron Intersection

Placed cement-treated aggregate and asphalt for Stage 2B.

Switched traffic on westbound Route 7 at Baron Cameron Avenue to Stage 2C.
Area 3: Difficult Run Area (Colvin Forest Drive to Faulkner Drive)
- Completed deck concrete placement for the eastbound bridge over Difficult Run.
- Began constructing the approach slabs and bridge rail on the eastbound bridge.

Completed grading and placed cement-treated aggregate for Stage 2A on eastbound Route 7 between the pedestrian underpass and Serenity Woods Lane.
Area 4: Faulkner Drive to Jarrett Valley Drive

Completed storm sewer installation for Stage 3A between Middleton Ridge Road and Newcombs Farm Road.
- Performed grading and placed cement-treated aggregate and base asphalt along eastbound Route 7 for Stage 3A between Serenity Woods Lane and Middleton Ridge Road.
- Installed storm sewer along the future right turn-lane from westbound Route 7 to the relocated portion of Lewinsville Road.

Continued road construction activities at Lewinsville Road in preparation for the upcoming opening of the displaced left-turn lane.
- Completed reconstruction of the westbound right-turn lane from Route 7 to existing Lewinsville Road.
Third-party utility design and relocation activities are also ongoing.
