Eviction Information
The City of Camarillo understands the significant impact COVID-19 has had on our community, and has worked to protect businesses and residents. On September 30, 2021, the State's eviction moratorium expired. In accordance with the State, the City's moratorium has also ended. There are resources available, which we suggest affected individuals and businesses become aware of.

Residential:
For more than a year, the State has worked to pass multiple laws for residential tenants experiencing COVID-19 related financial distress. These laws extended and expanded critical protections, and also established a statewide rental assistance program. As part of the CA Rent Relief Program, qualifying residential renters and landlords are eligible for 100% of rent and utilities owed.

For more information on residential eviction processes and resources, please see the State's tenant protection information.

Commercial:
Commercial tenants who were afforded eviction protection will have a hundred and twenty days to pay their landlord all unpaid rent per Section 8 of the City's EOC Order 20-2A

Additional Resources:
Electric Vehicle Charger Purchase and Installation Incentives
CALeVIP will offer incentives for the purchase and installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at publicly accessible sites throughout California.
Businesses, commercial properties, and multifamily residences, can apply for EV charger rebates. CALeVIP incentives range from $30,000 to $80,000 for high-powered DC fast chargers.

For more information on the CALeVIP electric vehicle incentive program, please visit, CALeVIP.org.
