The California Housing Partnership Welcomes a Research Director and New Staff Members
Anthony Vega, Research Director

Anthony Vega, Ph.D., has joined the California Housing Partnership as our new Research Director. In this role, he will oversee the Partnership's expanding research, policy analysis, and program evaluation work. 

Prior to joining the Partnership, Anthony was the Director of Research and Evaluation at The Community Builders (TCB) in Boston, where he oversaw the evaluation of TCB's programs and their impact on resident housing stability and access to opportunity. In addition, he also worked as a senior research analyst at the John Jay Research and Evaluation Center in New York and has taught courses at Washington State University and John Jay College. 

Dr. Vega earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in Sociology from Washington State University and a B.A. in Sociology from Humboldt State University. He is a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society and the American Sociology Association. He can be reached at avega@chpc.net.
Siera Beal, Housing Finance Specialist

Siera Beal joins us as a Housing Finance Specialist, providing technical assistance and support to the Partnership’s Housing Finance team to guide affordable housing developments of our nonprofit and local government agency partners in obtaining funding from an array of federal, state and local competitive programs. Prior to the Partnership, Siera worked at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and in commercial real estate finance with RLJ Lodging Trust and CBRE. Augustina Ullman, Research Assistant

Augustina Ullman joins the Partnership's growing Research team as a Research Assistant. In this role, she will support the Partnership’s affordable housing preservation and policy efforts through data analysis and other analytical support. She also serves on the Emerging Leaders Peer Network (ELPN) Policy Committee of the Nonprofit Housing Association of Northern California. She can be reached at aullman@chpc.net.
Bobby Kamkar, Operations Associate

Bobby Kamkar joins the Partnership as Operations Associate to provide administrative support for meeting and event logistics, contract management, human resources, technology, as well as general day-to-day office operations.
