CETL's Faculty Learning Opportunities (FLO)

Fall Semester Schedule Released!

CETL is excited to announce our Faculty Learning Opportunities for the upcoming fall 2024 semester!


Our Faculty Learning Opportunities, or FLOs, are multi-modal learning opportunities offered for a number of topics. FLOs include in-person, online and HyFlex workshops, specialized series, short video trainings, and asynchronous and synchronous online courses. Check out our FLO Calendar for session description, dates, modality, and registration links.

FLO Workshop Series

For the first time ever, and based on your feedback, CETL is launching their new FLO workshop series this fall. These offerings are designed to foster professional growth and collaboration. Faculty and staff are welcome to participate in the entire series or simply attend individual sessionswhatever suits your interest, need, or schedule.

QM Workshop


The Quality Matters (QM) Course Design Workshop consists of five sessions aimed at creating a course that adheres to QM standards, promotes student success, integrates Universal Design for Learning, and could be used as a template at the College.


*Registered faculty must commit to all five sessions and complete mandatory assignments.


In Case You Missed It

With so many workshops, speaking events, and other FLO sessions, we know it can be a challenge to attend those that interest you, especially with your busy schedules. That's why CETL makes the effort to record as many FLOs as possible. If there is an upcoming FLO you cannot attend, chances are we plan to record it. Was there a FLO last semester you were interested in but could not attend, chances are we also recorded it. Check out our FLO Recordings page on the CETL website to view them today!
