Advent Begins this Sunday
Sunday November 27 | 9:30 AM

Enjoy hot cider, donuts and fellowship at our family-friendly Advent wreath-making forum hour.

We'll have the Advent candles, wire wreath frames, greenery and accessories for you to create your own, unique Advent wreath for the season.
Sunday November 27 | after the 10:30 AM mass
Feast of St. Andrew
At the cloister fountain
All are invited to celebrate the Feast of St. Andrew on Sunday November 27th after the 10:30 AM mass.

We will gather around the cloister fountain for a short time of prayer and thanksgiving for the life of St. Andrew, brother of Peter and the apostle who introduced the boy with the loaves and fish to Jesus. He is also the patron saint of several countries including Scotland—hence the kilts!
Monday November 28 | Iron Hill Brewery
Give 20 Fundraiser
Proceeds to benefit those in our parish who are battling cancer

Our annual post-Thanksgiving take-over of Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant is this coming this Monday, Nov. 28!

By then you'll be sick of turkey sandwiches and turkey soup and turkey everything. So come join your parish family at Iron Hill, enjoy a delicious dinner and the restaurant will donate 20% of your food bill to Saint James. Proceeds will go towards those in our community who are battling cancer. This token of love will help to offset medical expenses and other burdens associated with cancer.

And Monday is also release day for Saint James Ale! Don't forget to sample or take home some of this wonderful English ale, named after our parish and brewed by Iron Hill for 12 years!

You will need to present a coupon for the 20% to be designated for Saint James. You may either show the coupon to your server on your phone or grab a printed coupon when you are at church this Sunday.

Reservations strongly encouraged! Click here to view the coupon.
Saturday December 10 | 3:30 PM
St. Nicholas Trot and Visit
St. Nicholas to arrive at Saint James by horse-drawn carriage!

He'll start at Duke and Chestnut Streets and end at the church where there will be live nativity animals.

Story time with Saint Nicholas will begin at 4 PM. Refreshments will be served. Held rain or shine.
Christmas Memorial Flowers
Remember a loved one and help us prepare our sanctuary for Christmas
If you would like to memorialize or honor a loved one with Christmas flowers in the sanctuary, you can do so in Realm. The name of your loved one will be listed in the Christmas Eve bulletin.

The suggested donation is $15/flower. Click here to get started. In the memo box, type the name of the person you are honoring. If you are ordering multiple flowers and run out of space in the memo box, simply make your donation, type “list to Karen” in the memo box and email Karen King the list of names.

You may also mail a check to the church office with Christmas flowers in the memo line. Call the parish office at 717-397-4858 if you have questions.

Submission Deadline: Friday, December 9th.
Looking Ahead to Next Year
Returning in 2023!
Faith, Food and Fellowship
Registration has begun!

We are excited to announce the re-launch of Faith, Food and Fellowship. What better way to get to know new members and fellow parishioners than by sharing a meal with them! Below are three popular options to fit varied lifestyles and schedules.

Just Lunch
An opportunity for those who prefer a social gathering at midday, in a member's home or at a restaurant.

Table for Six
This is an opportunity to dine out with fellow parishioners. Groups decide which restaurants they enjoy, take turns making the reservation and ask for separate checks.

Dinner for Eight
Groups of 8-10 gather in each other's homes. Households rotate hosting and providing the main course. The host also plans what others should bring to round out the meal. This is also a great option for families with children!

Groups will begin meeting the end of this January and continue through June.
