Polling places will be open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All voted absentee ballots must be received in the Election Office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Satellite Voting Locations
All County ballots will be available for in-person absentee voting (early voting) at the following locations. Early voting will be available from now through November 4.

When are absentee ballots due and how can they be returned?
The deadline to receive absentee ballots is November 5 at 8:00 p.m. at the Auditor’s Office. Note: postmark dates no longer count. The ballot must be physically received by 8:00 p.m. on November 5.
It is too late to mail your ballot!!! You must deliver it to the Auditor's Office, 600 W. 4th St., Davenport, or put it in the red & white striped drop box entitled "ballot drop" located on the west side of the parking lot. The box will be available until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5.
Can I vote in person even though I requested an absentee ballot?
- Yes, you can vote in person but you MUST bring your absentee ballot with you so it can be spoiled.

You can vote in person without your absentee ballot, but you must inform the poll workers that you requested an absentee ballot but never received it. You will then be allowed to complete a provisional ballot.

You can vote in person if you mailed your ballot but it has not been received by the auditor. You must inform the poll workers that you mailed your ballot, but it has not been received by the auditor.

Can I register to vote on Election Day?
You may register and vote on election day. To do so, you first must go to the correct polling place for your current address on election day.
If you are unsure of your polling place, Find Your Precinct/Polling Place.
At the polling place, you must prove both who you are and where you live. The best way to do this is with your valid Iowa driver’s license with your current address printed on it. However, you can register even without a driver's license. See details HERE
When and where can I vote on Election Day?
On November 5, 2024, Election Day, the polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Voters will use their regular assigned voting locations. Voters who are unsure of their assigned voting locations can call the Auditor’s Office at 563-326-8631 or use Precinct Finder - Where do I vote?
