AP試験を受験する生徒の保護者の皆様：

ファーストレスポンダー（初動対応者）（注）とは、事故、自然災害、テロなどの緊急事態の現場にいち早く到着し、支援を提供する専門トレーニングを受けた人のこと。
COVID-19によりSpring for Schoolsの昼食会がキャンセルされた時、875,000ドルの目標を実現するのは難しいことがわかりました。寛大な寄付者がすでに579,000ドルを寄付してくれていることは良いお知らせです。

食料品寄付の最新情報
医療従事者の方々への食料品の寄付は大成功でした！参加して下さった皆様、大変ありがとうございました。
4月20日と27日に、
Harborview Medical Centerの医療従事者に合計100食分の昼食を寄付しました。また4月24日に、Overlake Medical Centerの医療従事者に40食分の昼食を寄付しました。当初は120食分の寄付を予定していましたが、予定よりも多額の寄付をいただいたので、さらに20食分を寄付することができました！
改めてお礼を申し上げます。BHSの全ての家族が安全で健康でいられることを願っています。

WIAA SCHOLASTIC CUP RESULTS 2019-20
Bellevue High School Athletics & Activities were very well represented in the prestigious WIAA Scholastic Cup standings for the 2019-20 school year (point totals accumulated through State tournament results and cumulative G.P.A.'s of the individual programs)
Bellevue High School finished 2nd Place for all 3A classification schools! Definitively highlighted by the Girls Swim & Dive team 3 peat State title defense, and three State Academic team Champions in Girls Swim & Dive, Band & Speech and Debate!
Also.... Our Drill Team are 2019-20 Academic State Champions as well to ADD to BHS's talented students!!!!
In a shout out to ALL four of our BSD schools that participate in the Scholastic Cup,

SENIOR SHOUT OUTS
Girls Track and Field
Elizabeth Musolino: When I think of Libby, I think life of the party. This young lady could lighten the mood on even the days with the hardest work outs. She was not only positive, but kept us laughing. She demonstrated a mature level of communication with me throughout the two seasons I worked with her. This communication allowed me to understand her as an individual and the role she fulfilled on our team. Her personality and presence will be missed next season, however I know she will bring the same level of joy to her future endeavors and teams that we had the honor to experience at Bellevue.
Libby was always making the teammates ( and coaches ) around her laugh. I'll never forget her running from her SAT directly to the JV championships. She made it just on time. Such a fun and bright athlete to coach!
Janet de la Vega: Janet always show tremendous grit. She has an unmeasured level of determination when training
and
during competitions. She is also extremely kind with a level of patience beyond her years. She is well suited for any challenges the next phase of her life brings. Janet is one of those athletes who exemplifies hard work
and
dedication. I never had to worry about her completing the work out or putting in 100% effort. Her hard work showed in her competitive results.
Justine Fielding-- Despite having very little time with Justine because it was her first year doing track, I had the pleasure of creating a bond with this young lady. She is mentally sharp, knows what she wants and what she doesn't want. She quickly became a leader amongst the sprinters, helping to lead warmups and various parts of the spring workout. She took the time to sit down with me and respectfully communicate any misunderstandings, a step that demonstrated Justine is very mature. She manages her emotions well and I am determine she will accomplish anything she puts her mind to.

Jayce Zimmerman: Jayce would have been a 2 year letterman. Jayce was a big part of the pitching staff last year and this year he would have been an even bigger key to the team. We could count on Jayce to come in and throw strikes and get guys out. He would have been one of starters this year. Jayce will be continuing his education at the Foster school of Business at UW. Good Luck Jayce!
Boys Lacrosse
Grey Sunderland is a warrior. A 4 year varsity player, Grey has worked tirelessly in practices, games, and off the field to perfect his craft. Face-offs are an often overlooked part of the game, as it takes up so little time during a game. But those quick seconds - milliseconds in terms of a clamp and well executed exit - play a profound factor in determining who will win. In Lacrosse, possession is the most important statistic, and ground-balls and faceoffs bear heavily on its outcome. Over the years, we have watched Grey grow both in his game, his attitude, and in his person. He came to us as a small, technically skilled player who was sometimes out-worked by less skilled, but more physical, opponents. Grey attacked this area of the game, becoming a physical competitor who was just as good at getting a ground ball as winning a clamp. He has the ability - both physically and mentally - to take situations in to his own hands, as he did in the Semi-final against Bainbridge in last year's playoffs. Beyond his play, though, Grey has been an ambassador for our program: Grey has spent time working with younger players in the program to work on their skills, but also recruiting athletes to pick up a stick. Grey's personality - which can only be described as an electric factory - largely defined the swagger and energy of our Varsity squad this year. While we are sad to miss out on the great things Grey would have done this senior year, we are all looking forward to seeing what he will do in his collegiate career. Grey - thanks for everything you've done, and for being you.

SPRING SPORTS SENIORS 2020 - IN THEIR OWN WORDS!!
Hello Bellevue High School & BHS Community....in another effort to honor and celebrate our Senior Student Athletes this Spring, we have reached out to ALL of the individual Seniors and their parents who are participating in Athletics. We are asking that if students themselves would like to have a chance to comment on what being a student athlete means to them, any highlights or memories they'd want to share and any people that they'd want to thank have a chance to do so.
Boys Lacrosse - Alex Reid
Lacrosse
has been a great experience at Bellevue High School. I have met so many amazing people who have become my friends and made memories that I will remember for a lifetime. It sucks that we aren't able to compete in our senior year, but I am glad that I got to experience the last couple years with some amazing teammates. Unfortunately, I was never able to get a state championship ring which is a bummer because we had such a talented senior class and I am sure we would have gotten one this year. Overall, I had an awesome time playing
lacrosse
for a program like Bellevue and wouldn't trade my time there for anything.

I've made amazing relationships with teammates and coaches that will last a lifetime. Being an athlete at Bellevue has taught me the importance of hard work, dedication and teamwork -things that will be an asset throughout my life. Some of my favorite memories are winning the state championship, repeatedly beating Mercer Island and traveling to tournaments with my teammates. I will never forget these experiences and the friendships I've made with these boys

11年生（JUNIORS）
毎年、BHSの11年生は、プロムや卒業式などの12年生のイベントにかかる費用を抑えるために、資金を調達するラッフル（くじ）の販売を行なっています。
ラッフルには、
Westin Los Cabosのヴィラでの宿泊（6名4泊分）、Caboレストランギフトカードおよび現金750ドルが含まれます。目標は、1枚15ドルのラッフルチケットを
2,000枚販売し、30,000ドル調達することです。
さらに何人かの売り手が必要で、それぞれが25枚ずつ販売すれば目標を達成できます！他のBHSの保護者、同僚、家族にチケットを販売することも、自分で購入することもできます。4月23日（木）の抽選までに販売する必要があります。メールのテンプレートとマーケティング資料を提供し、販売を支援します。
