From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,

It was a very fun, snowy day today at St. Anthony on the Lake! Your students LOVED being able to get outside and play in the snow! We had lots of rosy cheeks and smiles after recess! The next couple of days are going to be cold. If you have signed up for playground duty we will most likely be inside so your duties will include walking the halls and supervising in classrooms. We really appreciate your help at recess!

Tomorrow night (Tuesday, January 25) is our January CULVER’S night. Come join the fun. Out of uniform Passes may be used on Friday, January 28th.

Included in today’s newsletter are some very important attachments:

  • OPEN HOUSE Sign up. This Sunday, January 30 we will host our annual Open House from 10am to 1pm. We will have stations set up around the school along with Teachers inside their classrooms. We are looking for additional volunteers to man the tables and answer questions (Talking points will be provided). Please use this sign up genius to help us out on Sunday.

  • Catholic Schools Week: We will begin Catholic Schools Week on Sunday, January 30. Each day will have fun activities in addition to special dress days and Religious activities. Be sure to look carefully at each day so your child may participate fully in each of the events. If your child chooses not to participate in a particular dress day, simply send them in their uniform.

  • COVID Protocols: We have once again updated the COVID protocols. Please find the information here.

We congratulate all of our Second Graders on the reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation this past week. I know they are looking forward to the beginning of preparations for First Holy Communion in May!

Blessings!

Mrs. Ellen Knippel
