Tax Due Dates

March 1 - tax info is due to our office for Individuals (Forms 1040 and 114), December year-end C-corporations (Form 1120), and Trusts (Form 1041)

March 15 - filing deadline for November year-end C-corporations (Form 1120), S-corporations (Form 1120S), LLC's and Partnerships (Form 1065)

April 1 - tax info due to us for individuals wishing to extend and also for Non-profits

April 18 - filing deadline for Individuals, December year-end C-corporations, and Trusts

May 16 - filing deadline for Non-profits (Forms 990) and for individuals and businesses affected by the wildfires in Boulder County

Portal Reminders

Passwords - If you haven't logged in to your portal for 90 days, you will have to reset your password: click "Forgot your Password?" and then reset via email using your login and associated email address. You will receive a temporary password email and use that to log in - that will also be your "old password" when you are prompted to create a new one.
reCAPTCHA - Don't forget to check the box before you click Log In.
Multi-Factor Authentication - If you got a new phone since last logging in, email Justin or Toni saying you need a Temporary Code (good for 24 hours). Then enter this code in the MFA screen near the bottom right. Once you have logged in, click your name on the top right and choose "Manage Multi-Factor Authentication," remove the existing phone and click "Add Option" to add your new phone.
Error Pop-up - Try opening our website in a private or incognito window to access the portal Log In.
Locked Out - If you get locked out of your account, you should receive an email with a link to unlock it. If you don't, or if you have any other portal issues, email Justin and he will be happy to help!

Other Tips

Many of you received the third stimulus payment, issued last year starting in March, and you should have received IRS Letter 6475 this year to confirm for your 2021 tax returns.
If you received advance child tax credit payments last year, IRS Letter 6419 includes the total amount you received.

We love GoFundMe, but it's important to remember that: Donations made to personal GoFundMe fundraisers are generally considered to be "personal gifts" which, for the most part, are not taxed as income in the United States. Additionally, these donations are not tax deductible for donors.
