PILLAR HEALTH HOSTED A SUCCESSFUL NEIGHBORHOOD OPEN HOUSE
Pillar Health, a division of the Kenosha Community Health Center, is opening its first location at 4006 Washington Road in Kenosha this September. Pillar Health will provide integrated medical, dental, and behavioral health services in a health home model. The model is designed to place patients and families at the center of care delivered by a team that utilizes evidence-based approaches and resource referrals to address individualized needs.

SEPTEMBER IS SUICIDE PREVENTION MONTH | |

It is no secret that America has been met head-on with an unprecedented mental illness epidemic. The Covid-19 pandemic, isolation from support systems, jobs, hobbies, financial burden, grief, and insufficient resources, have all caused mental health crises to rise as we have never seen before.

August has been a busy month for community engagement. On August 15th, KCHC participated in the big Uptown Health Fair and Back to School Event sponsored by Kenosha County Public Health and the Racine-Kenosha Community Action Agency.
Thirty-five KCHC team members participated in a team building event on August 26 to help better understand each other on both a personal and professional level.
