PATRIOT DAY REWARD!

A WONDERFUL DISPLAY OF PATRIOTISM &

PRAYERFUL REMEMBRANCE.....

We had a great turnout at last Saturday evening's 9/11 Service at the Acushnet Fire Station.

Our school community was well represented, which was a wonderful testimony to our mission.

Our solid faith, prayerful acknowledgement and understanding of the impact of the events that unfolded twenty years ago was made known by our presence at the town gathering.

Thank you to those who attended the service in person, as well as those at home who remembered and honored those impacted by this tragic event.

We are grateful, thankful, and truly blessed.

Next week we officially welcome fall!

Happy Fall 'Yall!

Remote Learning or Not Remote Learning...

that is the Question!

We have prioritized the importance of in-person learning and will sustain it to the greatest extent possible this year. While last school year's remote learning experience was solid, it did take a toll on our teachers who had to navigate two different settings. In addition, we know that learning through Google Meet is not an effective learning mode for children, especially for elementary students, who thrive in the context of a personal environment.

In limited instances, we will offer remote learning for those students who are either quarantined or awaiting COVID test results. These remote learning opportunities will vary based on a child's grade , level of remote learning potential and will be considered on a case by case basis.

If your child(ren) will be absent from school due to these reasons only, please contact Mrs. Russo to make arrangements for remote possibilities.

Thank you!

"Fly on the Wall"

One week ago today as I was departing from school after the long/short week, I shouted my daily goodbye to all of those students remaining in Extended Care.

A very loud voice rang out, from a beautifully intuitive third grader exclaiming,

"Don't work too hard this weekend,

Mrs. Russo!"
