Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I am sad that this happens, and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

ATTENTION, FLC Friends! This is the last week for collecting Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Black Beans, Salsa, Cereal, Oatmeal, Granola Bars, Peanut Butter, Soups, Toilet Paper, and non-alcoholic drinks for the young people who are volunteers for Lutheran Service Corps and are donating a year’s service to Omaha non-profit agencies! The items are accumulating in the narthex, but there is room for more to accomplish our goal of packing the pantry for the Fall and Winter! If you don’t care to shop yourself there is an available jar for monetary donations at the display near the Welcome Center, and we will be happy to do the shopping for you! Wal-Mart gift cards for purchase of personal care items are also welcome! This is an opportunity to do God’s Work—using Our Hands (and resources)! Thanks to all who have already given!

Please note there is both a plastic and a wooden Receptacle for gifts to the WASHINGTON COUNTY FOOD PANTRY are available to receive your food donations at FLC at any time!

FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH SUMMER GARDEN SHARE

This year First Lutheran gardeners will be donating vegetables and fruits to be given to families who receive the food assistance through First Lutheran Church. FLC gardeners are asked to bring their donated vegetables and fruits to the church on Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or, preferably, on Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Signs will be in place directing the donors as to where in the Fellowship Hall the vegetables should be placed. Because of this change, gardeners are encouraged to stick with the basic vegetables or fruits which they have grown. Thank you in advance to ALL of our generous FLC gardeners!
